RECOMMENDED USES
- HIR BALL MILL INNER LINING ADHESIVE OR GLUE is highly recommended in use for bricks lining in ball mill and tiles lining in silo.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Successful performance can achieve only after proper surface preparation. It is the prime requirement that surface must correctly prepared before application.
- Surface must be free from any oils, grease, loose particles, curing aid chemicals, previously applied coating, paint, etc.
- Surface must be fully dry.
- cracks, cavities should be repaired with Epoxy mortar
- Surface should be full flaky rust removed.
APPLICATION
- There are two parts provided in this product, Part A and Part B. HIR tiles adhesive should be mixed properly to achieve uniform consistency.
- Both these parts are mixed and applied on metal surface using notched trowel.
- Use notched trowel 6 mm to form 3 mm respectively.
- Move the trowel in one direction straight either vertical or horizontal.
- Place the clean brick or tiles on correct adhesive bed thickness.
- Move the brick or tiles in opposite direction to that of adhesive toweled.
- By doing this we will get better surface bonding between brick and adhesive.
